Your assessment is identical to mine. I thought Bush was a bit funnier and more glib, but I'm not sure that's something you want to be in a foreign policy debate. And he also seemed significantly distracted or something.

I think Kerry hit the points he needed to, and seemed very presidential. It was a good debate, though.

Even though I said I would not get into this, for the record, I quickly changed my mind after calling the debate a "tie". Kerry won. He barely edged Bush in substance and beat Bush somewhat substantially in style, in my opinion.
